Tune Ups and Bike Builds

Tune Ups
starting at $65.00

Basic tune ups include: adjustment of front and rear brakes, front and rear derailleur, true front and rear wheels, lube drive train, check and adjust headset, light cleaning, lube cables, make sure that tires having proper air pressure and make sure all bolts are tight.

Over Haul Tune Ups
Starting At $150.00

An over haul means that we take the hole bike apart down to the bearings and put it back together as if brand new. This may mean that some parts may have to be replaced that have been broken or worn out. Parts not included in the price.

Safety Check
$25.00

Basic safety checks the bike over to make sure the bike is in good safe working order.

Consumer Store Bike Checks and/or Builds
$50-$75

If you must buy a bike from a mass corporation please get it checked over by the people that know how to put a bike together. Please don’t trust the plumber that got paid $10 to build a bike with your life. Basic check over and builds are the same as a tune up.

*Labor pricing is based upon the discretion of the service adviser. Prices are based on the time it takes to do the labor. Our base labor rate is $65.00/hour. Some base rates are already set.

*All adjustments have a minimum price. This means that the adjustment could cost more depending upon the amount of work done.

Wheels

WE ARE THE BEST WHEN IT COMES TO WHEELS.

Wheels that come in with very bad rust or corrosion will be turned away. Basic rule of thumb is: if you can REALLY see the bend, most times the rim is unrepairable and you will need a new rim or wheel.

BMX Wheel Builds

BMX wheels 32 to 48 hole. Most custom BMX wheels a little more effort to build then standard wheels, so the price is a little more. For more complicated off set criss cross rims add $10.00 dollars each rim.

Note: When all parts (spokes, rim, and hubs) are purchased from H&S Bicycles the labor is free.

Overhauls

When we do an overhaul we do it right. We take the part in question apart, degrease it and clean it out. We then replace any broken parts, re-lubricate if needed, re-adjust and send it out like new.
